Governance Framework

  1. Design a comprehensive organisation governance structure to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Define board and management level committees with clear elaboration of their terms of reference including roles and responsibilities of the members.
  3. Design the risk organization structure commensurate with the complexity of operations.
  4. Ensure that the structure promotes objectivity and prevents conflicts of interest by clearly delineating roles and responsibilities.
  5. Develop performance evaluation frameworks for the Board and its committees and assisting in the preparation of Board meeting agendas.

  1. Design Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process.
  2. Develop policies across business segments – Wholesale, SME and retail, including credit policy.
  3. Develop comprehensive SOPs for key business processes over the entire credit life cycle – origination / underwriting / post disbursement  monitoring / Early Warning / Rehabilitation / Recovery, aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  4. Evaluate policies against current regulatory requirements and industry best practices and provide recommendations for policy revisions to ensure alignment with regulatory guidelines and organizational objectives

Enterprise Risk Management

  1. Business risk analysis with a strategic lens, identifying potential threats to your objectives and providing tailored solutions to enhance resilience and drive growth.
  2. Develop an Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) framework including all Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 risks and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
  3. Assist in designing and conducting stress tests and scenario analyses and integrating results into the ICAAP framework for capital planning and risk management.
  4. Liquidity risk advisory services to focus on regulatory compliance and Basel framework adherence, while also ensuring that you manage cash flow effectively and safeguard against financial instability.
  5. Develop models for the computation of expected credit loss (ECL) in line with IFRS 9 requirements.
  6. Comprehensive assessments of operational risks, including business continuity planning, to ensure that the organization can withstand disruptions and maintain critical functions.
  7. Establish data management processes to support ECL computation.
  8. Implement reporting mechanisms for timely and accurate ECL disclosures

EWS & Portfolio Monitoring

  1. Design and assistance in implementation of Early Warning Systems
  2. Development of Policy for Board approval, Design of the EWS Framework, Determination of triggers for EWS Alerts
  3. Process for examination of EWS alerts
  4. Assistance in identification and evaluation of vendors for the early warning system
  5. Design of the scope for the Data Analytics and Market Intelligence (MI) Unit
  6. Monitoring performance of identified borrower companies across industries
  7. Perform Red / Amber / Green analysis on borrower companies basis performance metrics including credit and valuations.
  8. Establish portfolio monitoring and reporting mechanisms for ongoing risk management.

Risk Due Diligence

  1. Evaluation of financial performance including examination of financial statements and key performance metrics to understand the financial health of the business.
  2. Assessment of scalability of business plan: Market and competitive landscape involving analysis of target market, key trends, potential risks, competitive landscape.
  3. Identification of potential risks (credit, market, operational) and assessment of mitigating strategies.
  4. Assessment of Risk Return metrics of the business.
  5. Assessment of the leadership team, their experience, and capabilities to drive the company’s success.
