Parag is a seasoned Risk Management, Infrastructure and Project Finance Professional with over 27 years of experience in Banking, Consultancy and Investment Management in India and Middle East (UAE and Bahrain). Parag now provides advisory services to regulated entities in the areas of risk management and regulatory compliance and conducts training programs for executives in the area of banking and finance.
Parag was the Chief Credit Officer of a private sector bank with a balance sheet size in excess of US$ 40 billion. Parag also led the Post-sanction credit monitoring function for the Bank and was instrumental in implementation of an automated Early Warning System.
Prior to this Parag has worked with a Big 4 firm in India and the UAE, providing consultancy services to Corporate and Government clients. Parag has also worked with an Asset Reconstruction Company in identification and execution of deals resulting in maximization of value recovery from stressed or non-performing assets.

- Engagement Partner for risk management advisory and training services for several clients in India including leading RBI regulated Banks / NBFCs / Asset Reconstruction Companies.
- Recently advised a Non-Banking Finance Company in formulating policies and carrying out due diligence for their proposed investments and is currently assisting an asset reconstruction company in enhancing its Governance Framework, Risk Management Policies and Processes
- Chaired the Management Credit Committee, and had overall responsibility for risk identification, assessment and sanction (or recommendation to the Board Credit Committee) of all fresh (large) loan proposals

- Project Manager with a Big 4 consulting practice, led engagement teams advising government agencies and private developers on policies in the infrastructure sector and project development through private sector participation in the UAE and India
- Led the financing of projects in the transportation sector and enabled financial closure of 5 national highway projects, implemented under the PPP framework by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)
- Was part of the Asset Resolution Group of India’s first Stressed Asset Management Company, and was involved in valuation and acquisition of stressed assets from banks and strategizing for resolution including Restructuring and / or Induction of partners
